Preheat your oven at 240 F (121 C).
Some ovens may vary and you don't want to go above 250 degrees F. If you think your oven runs hot, set the oven to preheat to ~ 230-245 degrees.
Grind your herb and put in a mason jar. Cover with aluminium foil and close with the metal ring only.
Put in the oven and cook for ~ 40 minutes. Shake the jar every 10 minutes .
Important!! The glass will be very hot when it comes out of the oven!
Remove the jar from the oven and let it cool down at room temperature before opening.
Add the oil into the mason jar with the previously decarboxilated cannabis, and close it again with aluminum foil and the metal ring.
Make a bain-marie. Put the jar in a croc pot lined with a kitchen towel, and fill with water until the water is higher than the oil level. If you can, put a lid on the crockpot to reduce water evaporation.
Place the temperature to Low. Infuse for 3 - 4 hours.
With gloves, strain the oil and bud while still hot.
Let the oil cool down at room temperature and use according to your recipe.
